Cool so blue shield won’t pay for an MRI for my back despite having a gene for a genetic Back disease my mom has b/c I need to do PT first except that i’ve tried that and can’t afford $75/session to do basically what I do at Pilates 4-5 times per week. Fun. So I guess I just keep living in pain.

I’m afraid of any kind of 🔥. never lit a match. I have oodles of candles I’ve gotten as gifts. Some I’ve given away b/c 🤷🏼‍♀️. One of my 8th graders recently was like- why don’t you just get a candle warmer? Friends. Why did no one tell me? I’m totally enjoying my winter candy apple candle scent w no 🔥!

Thursday-est Wednesday EVER.

It’s been 2 very, very long hard days, but fortunately I have [not quite] my generation’s greatest poet, #taylorswift, to remind me that “people throw rocks at things that shine.”

I love that idea. That’s a lot more serious than heres some donuts or wear red and green. I’m going to file it away for next year so I can put time into researching different traditions, religions, and cultures and do something more meaningful

My favorite is i put up a tree in faculty room and everyone brings an ornament that represents them in a non-obvious way. Then we take a quiz to guess who belongs to each ornament. Here’s mine for this year…

My team and I try to do a staff 15 days of Christmas (catholic school- Christmas is a given). Dress days, treats, Christmas party, stocking mass (to be donated to food pantry), etc. we need 4 more days. Anyone have a fun idea for me?

Oof. I’m so sorry. I fell out of my chair twice (thanks rolling wheels) with the same class and fortunately we all just kind of moved along. The laughing must have been beyond hurtful and I’m so sorry you had that happen 🫶🏻

It would also be nice if I got to ignore every rule and make up my own rules like everyone else so I’m not always the a-hole.

Feeling incredibly over it right now due to some comments from one of my classes. I wish I didn’t work so hard to help everyone else have a friendly staff, a good extracurricular, and HS prep, and that I could just give study hall and free time every day like they have in other classes.
