I was always upset that they never reached the heights of their '96 album again. It may have affected me more than I realised.
I was supposed to be a guest at Power Con this weekend, but my ongoing health issues mean I've had to pull out.
Apologies to anyone who was hoping to see me (and Rob) there. I was really looking forward to it.
Hopefully next year.
Having spent the weekend in hospital with internal bleeding (again), I was feeling pretty down this morning.
But then I did the washing up, with bright warm sunshine pouring through the kitchen window, writing comic stories in my head - and things didn’t feel quite so bad.
The UK Transformers comic was a massive influence on me.
And Geoff Senior’s art - well then I knew the story would be a notch above. More exciting, brutal - the ‘bots just moved with presence.
Anyway here is a panel of Geoff's art from a secret comic project I’m writing.
