The very finest snowflakes.
The very finest snowflakes.
Shocking how long this continuing thread is. Maybe not surprising, since the recruiting slogan for CPB and ICE is βYou can be like the Nazis, without needing the courage to show your face,β but still shocking.
I'm not entirely sure how they did it, but they've completely cleared the streets around my office in Midtown #NYC.
They paid a lot of people good wages to do the job effectively, thank you for coming to my socialism talk
This is Wiley. He has never seen snow before and wants to make sure he gets a real good look at it. For science. 12/10 (IG: smileywileydog)
Trump won because butthurt Bernie supporters in the Midwest didnβt vote for the competent woman who won the Democratic primary, long before either had to face Independent and Republican voters who would chew off their arms before voting for someone who calls themself a Democratic Socialist.
Look, I know the rise of fascism is a bigger problem, but the Democrats need to drive "No bailouts for AI or Crypto" legislation through, and soon.
Walk and chew gum. It's important the US Taxpayer isn't on the hook for the financial games these giant companies and absolute dipshits are playing.
Rep. Delia Ramirez to DHS officials: "I have as much respect for you as I do for the last white men who put on masks to terrorize communities of color. I have no respect for the inheritors of the Klanhood and the slave patrol. Those activities were criminal and so are yours."
Could have been a "bit flip" in your router's routing table. Best to power cycle it.
(I used to work at a large Networking company and did a lot of investigation on table bit flips caused by cosmic rays -- really!)
If that doesn't work, restart your wifi router. In rare cases, they can "mis-remember" the address of a device, and send traffic to the wrong place.
Screenshot of an email recommending the books "Good Material" by Dolly Alderton and "Ordinary Human Failings" by Megan Nolan. Just as Amazon has recommended every few weeks for 2 years.
Got another one today, with the same two recommendations.
And all current members blacklisted from the armed forces and any law enforcement positions.
I mean, canonically, isnβt it Colonel Mustard?
Anyone willing to join an organization like that is inherently not fit to be in law enforcement. By their own self-selection, 100% of the members of ICE arenβt qualified to work for the government.
It is literally irredeemable. The ONLY solution with an organization like that is to abolish it.
Remember, before their latest invasion of US Cities, ICE was most famous for ripping children from their parents with no plan, system, or inclination to reunite them.
ICE is not shy about using the Gestapoβs signature request: βPapers, please.β They publicly and proudly incarcerate people based on their apparent racial group. They murder and kidnap people, needing no justification, and never, ever, expressing remorse.
To explain why βAbolish ICEβ is the only path forward:
ICE is an organization that essentially advertises itself as βLike the Nazi Gestapo, but without the courage to show our faces while committing our crimes against humanity.β
One of my priors is that things are really bad if I am coming across news related to the bond market.
Oh, hey! Looks like the refs DO know what "roughing the passer" looks like... but only for Miami quarterbacks, I guess.
semi-regular reminder that ICE was only created in 2003
when you are asked to imagine a world without ICE, you're basically being asked to remember where you were when Lilo & Stitch came out
He didn't shoot her in the head at point blank range because he felt like he was in danger. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he was furious that she wasn't afraid of him. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he felt emasculated.
Resisting him almost always works, trying to bargain with him never ever works
In case you were wondering, Jack Smith's testimony was the *opposite* of "total exoneration."
Subaru, and then everyone else, decided to enable those safety features on all their cars (since the hardware was already there on all of them), and the whole industry is better now.
Consumer Reports didn't worry about whether a previous "golden child" would get dinged for a good rule.
This reminds me of how Consumer Reports added a rule that was something like, "All models from a manufacturer should have the same base safety features", & wound up dropping all Subarus (historically the leaders) from their "most reliable" list because the lowest end cars didn't have those features.
Thanks for the recommendation! I used read more dystopian novels, but <waves his hands around> with all this going on, I'm having trouble getting through "the future is fucked" stories...
Maybe after the next Presidential election I can get back to them...
How much is Alderton, or her publisher, paying for this spam? Clearly, they are not getting their money's worth.
I wonder what stage of enshittification this is...
I'm sure Dolly Alderton is a perfectly good and nice author, but "A heartbroken man tries to solve the puzzle of his failed relationship while navigating adulthood and friendship," is the description of a book I, personally, would never, ever, ever read.
So, every 2 weeks, since 2021, Amazon sends me recommendations, with THE SAME TWO BOOKS at the top of the list. To be clear, neither of these books bear the slightest resemblance to what I read.
I'd love to get good book recommendations, but their algorithm is clearly broken.
Just to be clear. Itβs the John F Kennedy center legally.
Just like itβs still the department of defense
Imagine being Columbia University or CBS News and realizing you have less dignity and fewer principles than Republican Indiana state Senators.
