And her Odysseus, what made him believe that she was still waiting for him? Did he consider that she might’ve moved on and married someone else in those 20 years? Or did he hope as well? How did he know that she was still there for him?

Did she hope? Did those gods give her visions that her husband is alive? Did she know?

Surely those years of waiting, that must’ve been difficult. Very difficult to hang on to a love that’s been missing for more than a decade.

I wonder what goes through Penelope’s mind in all those 20 years of Odysseus’s absence. Surely at that point, she assumed that he’s dead and considered marrying one of the 108 suitors.

What made her believe he was going to come back? What made her believe he was alive? What kept her going?

Trying not to fall into this big pit of negative emotions because its so easy to fall into despair. But fuck has it been so hard.

But somehow that same talent, whenever I indulge in it, I feel happy. I’ve been drawing since I was little, how I miss not caring about anything else, just getting lost in the stories and OCs that I create in my mind. True happiness at that.

Being told to pursue my dreams by someone who discouraged me in the first place. Makes me wonder what made them change their mind so late, when I’ve believed the latter and now, having resentment at the talent that got me nowhere in life.
