The infantilization of conservatives by liberals is both dumb and dangerous. These people have agency and they know exactly what they're doing. No amount of education or "exposure therapy" is going to change the hate and bile and racism that fills their black hearts.

The stuff Jeffrey Epstein’s friends felt comfortable saying and drawing in grotesque detail with their names attached knowing they would not face consequences is the kind of thing I think of when I think about rape culture and how sexual violence against girls and young women is actually glorified

They'll lie and say it's about safety. They'll say there is no research when the research exists for the same procedures for cis counterparts. They will say the procedures alone are immoral while they do it themselves. This has always been about public erasure and control. Be loud. Stay safe.

They say "can't be done for trans-ing gender" bc they know procedures alone don't cause harm. More cis than trans kids take hormone blockers for precocious puberty. More cis adults need HRT to regulate biological deficits. Breast surgeries--far more common for cis men & women. These r morality bans

We have had nearly two decades of panic about Free Speech on Campus and not a single case, not even the ones they made up, were as bad as what's happening now

maybe it's just personal bias but for real all the chicago area bands I've become friendly with in the past couple years should all be world famous bc there's an *insane* amount of talent here

Also it's been over a decade since more books came out. There's better stuff out there. Fresher, better stuff written by nice nerds who may or may not still be working a "day job".
