I never understand why people who tout their moderate and centrist credentials aren't directly asked about this.

We are posted up outside LC High School here in Spokane, where hundreds of students have walked out of their class in protest of ICE. LC is one of six schools across the Spokane participating in the walkout, which was organized at a lunch table last Thursday.
