Been digging through my archive again and came across these two pictures. In 2010 I was lucky enough to spend a few days on Val Kilmer's ranch about 25 miles from Santa Fe next to the Pecos River in New Mexico. A wild and magical place.

From my walk today - hope you all have a great Easter weekend.
The last picture in this short series - The Belgians at play....This week we have had food, drink, street theatre, the market and for Friday some music.
Along with the food, drink and street entertainment - you can buy a pair of boots !
Continuing this week's theme of the Belgians at play.
Continuing this week's theme of people watching in Waterloo, Belgium....The Belgians at play. always food and strong beer.
We lived in Waterloo, Brussels, Belgium between 2006 and 2010. Following on from yesterdayβs picture, think I have found enough from my limited archive to show over this week. The Belgians at play over a couple of their feast/holiday days. A bit of people watching/street photography for you.
Thanks....maybe post more next week
Digging through my archive trying to work out what to show next week....came across this image.
Hi Rob, thanks for the kind comment - highly appreciated
In Jordan, driving from Amman to the Israeli border. Stopped for a coffee and glass of water. The women who owned the cafe very kindly agreed to this picture.
Digging into my archive....Two from a trip to Jordan in 2008. The first at the Jordan River close to the border with Isreal. The second taken just after landing in Amman.

A bit of self promotion for a Tuesday. I have taken over f/8 this week showing some pictures from my Stromness Calling project.
Currently considering a live streamed A Photographic Life one day event. Free to attend in person. Maybe four special guests. Taking place in Oxford with easy access from London. Anyone interested?
Managed to take a camera out for the first time in months....nothing special, just wanted to prove to myself I still can take random street style pictures.
RIP George Tice β The photography legend is dead at 86.

Very cool βΒ The @criterion.bsky.social is streaming the documentary portrait "David Lynch: The Art Life" free to watch through the end of January. No account necessary. Please RT
At Maryhill Burgh Halls in Nov 21 we invited people to come in and talk about Maryhill and Glasgow. Their storyβs were recorded. I took some pictures as the people told their storyβs.
A deliberate choice so not to run it like a portrait session. For me a big change using colour and portraits!
Thanks to @glasgowwestend.bsky.social for the kind comments. Here is part of a short clunky/crude video I made of Mary telling her story of growing up in Maryhill. I have more Faces & Echoes which were recorded over a weekend at Maryhill Burgh Halls in Nov 2011..alas the Kelvin Dock Bar has gone !
Every now and then I get the notion that I can do colour. So I am going back a couple of years to re-visit some pictures I took in Glasgow, in 2021. Like the old Evening Times sign the pictures I will post over the coming days were taken in Maryhill.
Colin, you are right ......making my first book to document the last 7 years.
Thanks for the kind comment
Been collating a few family pictures- Granddaughter.
Hi Adam, you may have seen some of my work in Instagram/Threads....just started building a presence on Bluesky.
I have three active projects, I keep adding to them when I can. I have shown a few from the Rochdale Canal & Carrington Moss in Manchester. The third is one I call Landing Ground recording landscape & life in the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales. This picture taken from the top of Gran Boduan.
@offlinejournal.bsky.social if not already on your list.
Great news and sure it will be very well received.
Wandering around in Prestwich, Manchester.
What a shame....great pub and memories.
Will be walking the Rochdale Canal through the centre of Manchester. I am reluctant to call this a project- more of photo essay. Maybe you can join me in this short journey over the coming weeks. This is Chen who lives in an apartment next to the Rochdale Canal in Manchester.
