When we did some quick tests, I was especially impressed with how much it managed to reduce ghosting artefacts, even on more noisy backgrounds. Being sharper by itself is also nice. Then again, M is quite a bit heavier on perf.

I believe M is now sharper by default indeed, but not sure if a custom sharpening pass is still recommended or not. How sharp does it feel compared to native resolution?
Super excited to finally be able to show what game we are working on!
Mission completed!
I didn't have a Texel last time ๐ญ. I definitely need to try one this time!
Looking forward to meet you guys!
Hahaha ๐
Looking good!
It's the Sponza Palace in Dubrovnik, Croatia!
Whenever I see these on my phone, I'm also always fooled into thinking they are a 3D render ๐. I was super lucky with the timing too: Perfect Sun angle, and pretty much no people!
Small statue resembling the Stanford dragon, photographed inside the Sponza palace in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
This has to be the nerdiest photo I've ever taken.
Really impressive!
The Graphics Programming Conference 2024 presentation videos are live! Including mine about BG3.

I was visiting Paris last week. Spotted some very obvious Fresnel on the Eiffel tower ๐ค
The location also looked somewhat like the Sponza scene, which made it even better! (thanks @elmarcel.bsky.social for pointing this out! Photo taken by @frguthmann.bsky.social, forgot to take one myself ๐คฆโโ๏ธ)
Had an amazing time giving my first talk ever, at the Graphics Programming Conference in Breda!
Congrats to the organisation for such a fantastic first edition of the conference. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
