Just watched Paddington in Peru (beautiful, made me weep) and I’m about to get reallllll annoying about this franchise all over again.

The Paddington series is, truly, one of the best family film series to have come out of the last decade and it deserves Shrek- level appreciation.

In my deranged sick-addled brain I’ve decided it would be a good idea and iconic to get the rights to Cabaret (1998) and do the entire thing (with live vocals and a ragtag orchestra) with actual cabaret artists.

Also I want it to be a junk musical like The Tiger Lillies’ “Shockheaded Peter.”

Can we go back to having patrons at drag/burly/cabaret shows mask (providing they are able)? Just to lower the risk of getting sick?
