My sense of smell has always been really weak, but petrichor has always been a favorite of mine!

I’m in the second half of my third year in college and I still can’t tell if I’m at least semi-competent or if I’m just somehow incredibly good at guessing the answers to partial differential equations
It’s very stressful but I can’t see myself doing anything else

Managed to go outside to do errands like a real adult for all of 3 hours before desperately hightailing back to my apartment and screeching into my couch pillow for the rest of the day.
Just muted enough not to leave my walls. Not loud enough for emotional liberation.

A mysterious old lady in an enormous tentacular bonnet is taking her pet for a little stroll in its carrier. What kind of pet? A mystery! With tentacles! It appears to be snacking on a nice bone.
An elegant lady in a stylish Art Deco gown bedecked in pearls and fur is walking her pet moth. She wears a large glass hat… or is that a lamp? Is the lamp her head? It’s hanging from the ceiling and does not appear to be quite attached to the body. Something VERY odd is going on here!
A mysterious bandit flees into the night, brandishing a zigzag dagger, face and figure obscured in a black greatcoat, and wearing a hat that appears to consist of an enormous candlestick, complete with lighted candle.
A weird little hairy guy runs gleefully through the night. His hands are huge, and covered with wax, and every finger is a lighted candle.

A grand queen sits enthroned on a gravestone under a full moon in an ancient cemetery. Though a zombie, and a bit tattered, she is still the height of elegance, in her silk and lace rococo gown bedecked with bats and pearls and grand plumed and powdered wig. She holds a pentacle-frosted cake, and feeds bits of it to the elegant attendant rats that scamper through the holes in her gown (even the rats have little wigs!)
In the eerie violet twilight, a cadaverous vampire dangles from gnarled branches, lurking and waiting to swoop on potential passing prey. It’s unclad and pallid, with unkempt hair and arms half transformed to bat wings.
An ominous witch is perched on a gnarly branch under the full moon, partly transformed into a great owl: her face is an owl’s face, one arm has become a wing, and her feet are turning to talons. Her ragged garments resemble owl feathers. She’s poised to swoop into the night.
It’s a witch cottage! That is also a witch! An old ramshackle cottage with thatched roof and crooked chimneys and numerous odd windows and doors and nooks and crannies; but at the same time, it forms the dress and hat of a gnarled old witch, who smirks at us with a knowing look. A black cat roams down the cottage path.
