Feel like there’s some poetic justice in everyone who gets public transport to/from Welsh Labour conference having an absolute mare every time because of the seriously poor TfW service…

World Book Day seems as great a day as any to be at the launch of Wales’ new literary magazine, Folding Rock.

A beautiful launch with readings from Cardiff’s own Rachel Dawson and others.

First time seeing Hamilton at the Wales Millennium Centre last night - absolutely incredible. Truly lives up to the hype and like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

Bluesky is great so far but I’m REALLY missing the β€œsave” function. Keep seeing so many articles I need to save for later and feels like it’s a missing feature in-app.

Take part in our healthcare survey You now need to be receiving Pension Credit, or another means-tested benefit, to be eligible for Winter Fuel Payments. Find out how to apply.

If you’re #deaf or have #hearingloss, RNID have launched a survey with @signhealth.bsky.social to understand experiences of access to NHS healthcare.

Responding will take 15 minutes, and I’m really keen to hear from people in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 please share far and wide!

I can totally imagine! I’ve recommended it to so many friends. Such a perfect balance of moving but ACTUALLY funny rather than when blurbs say β€œlaugh out loud” and at best you smirk lol

Last night’s book swap at Scaredy Cats.

Went in determined not to bring anything home (for once) with a TBR pile as long as my arm, but couldn’t resist the temptation of a nostalgic Jaqueline Wilson reread.

Really good, Actually & Notes on Heartbreak were my contributions and both great reads.

Brilliant launch of Women in Public Affairs Wales today full of super talented women.

The consensus was that we’ve come a long way but women still face challenges in the sector.

An important reminder of how important collaboration, support & networks really are.

Agree with you both. Authenticity, ease and charm can all be an easier draw when not in power. When you’re already in charge, the risk is that you come across out of touch with the realities of how people are feeling.

It’s going to be an interesting few years trying to get the balance right!

I really agree with this but will be interested to see how well those qualities translate. The mood at conference was so jubilant and positive, but that didn’t come across in media coverage. Wonder how much voters not linked to party politics will feel it?

Beautiful Llandudno played host to an energising Welsh Labour conference.

Great to chat with public affairs colleagues, MSs, MPs and members of Welsh Govt about the changes needed in Wales to improve equality for people who are deaf and have hearing loss πŸ§β€β™€οΈπŸ¦»

100% agree with this. The data is so much better and it’s just all in all a much nicer platform to use, and avoids the Amazon guilt!
