It's the other way around. And that's for a reason.

The reason why RAM has become four times more expensive is that a huge amount of RAM that has not yet been produced was purchased with non-existent money to be installed in GPUs that also have not yet been produced, in order to place them in data centers that have not yet been built, powered by infrastructure that may never appear, to satisfy demand that does not actually exist and to obtain profit that is mathematically impossible

Outer Wilds, front to back. Parts of the city inside Attle Rock tumbling towards the black hole at is heart; the hourglass twins swapping sand; riding a comet; holding my breath before a certain jump, while the sun races by below in what seems an arms length away. Pure awe. All of it.

It also does stuff other games never do. The stuff it does at points with huge parts of the level architecture is like watching a magic show (I don't wanna spoil what it is). The way it uses space (-time) in general is what made me put down my controller in unbelieving awe several times.

For me it's probably the best game ever made. It's awe-inspiring, ambitious in mechanics and storytelling alike, and sticks the landing in a profound way. I would call the way it ends the 'cherry on top', as I had already loved everything up to that point, but the end just puts another cake on top.

When, you think about it, exploration is rather brisk in this. Think about every clue leading to a small 'dungeon' that's solvable within 20 mins at most, often quicker. Then comes the 'reset', starting you off on another 20 min dungeon. You just have to focus on finding a thread and following that.

Also, I'd argue it's quite on-brand for comics. Just cause they hang on to their characters doesn't mean they can't make great movies. Plus, you can't say they didn't TRY other characters, it's just that the only one that was legitimately good (Agatha all along 🩵), didn't do much for the core story
