I’m not sure how this would translate but in Ohio Strickland (D)created a $2b deficit. Kasich (R), who balanced the Fed budget with Clinton was elected governor and began a large program cutting cycle and took a lot of crap for it. But as Ohios fiscal picture improved he began adding them back.
