Large Wooden slab on sawhorses in the process of being made into a desktop, fresh stain is a rich auburn color. Next to the sawhorses are the future legs for the desk, painted a flat black. Upside down while paint on the bottom dries.

Been building a new desk for the GF, just got the stain on the top finished & honestly super happy with how it's come along. Just need to do the poly-coat & it'll be time for final assembly!

The unfortunate life of a poor cisco router, who once dreamed of an important role managing important things. Instead relegated to a "permanent temporary" patch role. This poor fellow hangs precariously 6 feet off the floor with only flimsy plastic tabs & friction holding it in place in a way neither were designed for. This is the little cisco router who could, but shouldnt have.

Ive unfortunately done worse. Couldnt put it on top of the cabinet or the PLC thats mounted sideways, so we just wedged it in the plastic tabs on the panduit…

I don't dispute artists being paid what they deserve but I do badly wish there I could get a tattoo without spending $600 and still allowing the tattoo artist to get paid.
I'm aware it's paradoxical, hence the deep frustration. A lot of artists still struggle to get by even with high prices.

I felt the same thing, it's something about the difference in pen drag and smoothing. I've seen people put on these screen protectors that add a little bit of roughness to the screen so the pen has a more familiar drag.
Also more awkward to go from drawing flat on a desk to holding the thing...

I cant even begin to count the hours of time wolf gave me. They were a huge part in forming how i saw myself & inspired me to grow into the person ive been.
I couldnt have asked for anything more than them being surrounded by loved ones, they were deeply loved, & they will be missed

Had to work in BFE north dakota this week. The "town" i stayed in only had a tractor dealership, hotel, dairy queen, dollar general, gas station, & a subway for some reason.

Airports have proven to be an interesting lesson in self reflection. Realizing my frustrations in airports has helped me better recognize when im grouchy just because im tired...
Still cant stand CLT though. At least specifically the E concourse, itd be better if half the damn thing wasnt missing.

But it boots, & it runs, & its made some beautiful things.
Thats why i equate it to something i cant get rid of. Something that trashes the apartment & i have to spend time fixing. Most importantly i treat it as an untrustworthy source. Because it is, I dont trust that voice, i trust my friends.

Mentally I treat depression like a bad roommate i cant afford to kick out. When it speaks i react to it like its a nutcase who thinks the earth is flat and everythings a conspiracy. "Of course im good, look at the facts objectively dumbass."

You might have better luck doing the hair "texture" with a subtle normal map. Ive found texturing hair to be nearly a nightmare without just hand-painting it with to avoid odd texture-squish/stretch issues... though the normal map is just as likely to cause issue i suppose.

Really sucks living only like, 3 hours from magfest, but jot being able to go because itd require a lottery ticket to convince me i had the money to burn
