Best read of the year, so far. The Wager by David Grann
Such a fabulous series!
Good news: Hate Preacher Calvin Robinson has been kicked out of his current church.
Bad news: Does this mean he will be shipped back to UK? Gah.
Please take a moment to support this, thank you.

My NY resolution was to not have too many library books at once and put myself under pressure. Not going so well. ๐คทโโ๏ธ

Thankyou, @emmelinedraws.bsky.social for your beautiful artwork. They loved it. ๐ป
Pure by Andrew Miller. I'm on a French Revolution kick.
Omigoodness, my heart will always belong to Marcellus the octopus.
Wonderful book. Enjoy!

Spicy Margarita on Rottnest Island. Donโt mind if I do๐๏ธ ๐ถ๏ธ ๐ธ. I see Farage has dragged his slimy arse here to BlueSky. Blocked with so much pleasure.
A satirical cartoon of a passenger on a plane saying the pilot has lost touch with regular passengers before adding: โwho thinks I should fly the plane?โ Everyone puts their hands up.

Finished, but needed hints, and now I can sleep! Some right buggers too. Anyone sees this post and needs a hint, feel free to ask. No spoilers. #HiddenBooksGame
This happens a lot when many people joining at once. It will resolve :-)
It's up and the frown lines are deep already. ๐ฆ
Just over an hour to go until the most wonderful time of the year for book nerd puzzle lovers. I'm excited ๐๐๐
View over Malaysia from plane at sunrise
Visited my family in Australia and Brexit voted in, next trip Johnson, this trip, Trump. Need to start planning better or just stay home.
Absolutely, I see his supporters say it's for free speech. Since when is enforced speech free speech? Ask North Koreans who have propaganda forcibly piped into their homes every day.
That's right, in Koh Samui, Thailand. His org is also on IG but I can't with IG. It's a big decision for orgs/ groups because it's an immense platform for getting the word out but as we all know, it's now so dark and ugly so well done!
I am on the other place hanging on by a thread for the US election, Niall Harbinson and this guy, Matt and his Dandy and Spike, SO pleased to find him here.
Sometimes I question myself in this world of misinformation. Results were reassuring :-)

Is anyone having a worse week at their new job than the manager of Walthamstow Ambulance Station?
Your clean out is everything I would hoard in a hot minute. My clean out would be padlocks without keys, electrical cables for godknowswhat, clothes I have not worn in a decade but still..., empty cardboard boxes, hundreds of books I'll never live long enough to read... gah!
So pleased to read this, being on lists identified, without right of reply or evidence, as a war criminal supporter and follower of bigots and anti-trans has gnawed at me and justified not using my real name. Ngl, it has soured my experience here.
Stupidly excited to find what I think is a raptor pellet on my patio. Itโs a mixture of bone and feathers and gristle. Could it be? #nature
