The ranking gets fairly loose after the top 20. Things very much shift based on how I'm feeling that day. I'm also sure I'm forgetting like 4 or 5 games that should be considered at least. I just remembered that I didn't include Rayman 1 or Lost Odyssey before.
uuuh...remove that from the top 100 and put in Lost Odyssey at #100. Top 124 I guess for now lol.

It's not as carefully ranked here but I wanted a place to keep the honorable mentions/games that got knocked off the list.
It's been about a year, so I decided to rebuild and update the person Top 100 games list. A few additions and shake ups here and there. Had a couple games that I totally forgot to add in at all like Rayman 1.

Played a bit of RE9 last night. I didn't think we'd be evolving the concept of the chainsaw man in the early action sequence but here we are.
two weeks later and i still can't get this out of head, especially as i work through some of my first FF games
the internet loves to give modern pokemon shit for its graphics, but by refusing to participate in the AAA graphics arms race, they have unambigiously dominated the culture. they won.
Let's now compare that to Final Fantasy. From 87 to 03 there were 12 games, excluding spinoffs. 16 years and 12 games, that's great! Now compare the past 23, they've got 18 releases! Not so bad. Until you remove FF14 and now from 2009 onwards you've got 13/15/16/7r/7r2.
