League Of Legends Kicks Off 2026 With Season 1 For Demacia Riot Games confirmed that Season 1 of 2026 for League Of Legends will adopt a Demacia theme across the game’s seasonal structure, visuals, and content offerings. The annual cinematic dropping in January is designed around Demacian champions and what Riot describes as the kingdom’s golden age of lore. Summoner’s Rift and core gameplay systems are receiving wide reaching updates, including visual shifts and new mechanics such as Faelights and Crystalline Overgrowth.

Splitgate 2’s Relaunch Could be in Trouble Splitgate 2 launched badly, suffered PR issues and player drop-off, and was shut down in July 2025. Rebranded as Splitgate: Arena Reloaded, it's drawn strong initial interest but low ongoing PC player counts. Fans like the changes, but worry about marketing, accessibility, and long-term survival. Splitgate 2 did not get off to an auspicious start when it launched in June last year.
