Make any comment about the evil of AI on the internet and you inevitably get these people saying, "Ah, but you can't halt progress." You know what else people thought was progress not long after it was invented? Asbestos.
UGGGGHHHHJHHHH I wish with all my heart you had a better doctor.

News Release 2-Mar-2026 Study identifies molecular cause of taste loss after COVID Research links persistent loss of sweet, bitter and umami taste to reduced levels of key taste-cell protein Peer-Reviewed Publication University of Colorado Anschutz FacebookXLinkedInWeChatBlueskyMessageWhatsAppEmail AURORA, Colo. (Jan. 29, 2026) β Scientists have identified molecular and structural changes in taste buds that may explain why a small subset of people experience long-term taste loss after COVID-19 infection. The study, published last month in Chemical Senses, provides the first direct evidence linking patientsβ reported taste changes to measurable biological abnormalities inside taste cells. What causes long-term taste loss after COVID-19? Researchers from the University of Colorado Anschutz and two Swedish universities studied 28 non-hospitalized patients who reported persistent taste disturbances more than one year after contracting COVID-19.

I don't write upmarket fiction
I write black market fiction
Fiction you can't find at a traditional bookstore, or on a big name website.
Fiction you have to know where to find, because They won't tell you.
Fiction that challenges the status quo.
That's right. I write...

No worries! I know youre coming from a good place and you definitely have more information than I have and of course youd want to educate someone asking.
I know mortified means the same to me, so I was confused about that, but i might be the odd american out in that regards.
About him being such an educator on tourettes and there being a knowledge gap. Thats both lovely and horrible, that hes helped so much but now being treated like this.
Hi! I was just asking what the perceived difference in definition of mortified was between english/american. I definitely dont consider myself able to speak on anything except with my research, that it was a huge fault of the producers and handled horrifically on their end. I didnt have any idea
I dont get the difference? I guess you could say theres not always shame but its. Horrified embarrassment hiding cringing want to wade into a swamp never to be seen again
