Michael Clayton was fascinating. Somehow uncomparable and that alone makes it worth seeing.
I wouldn't say I'm enamored by it but I will definitely watch again.

I Like Movies was very entertaining and used its 90s aesthetic and beginner movie making theme very well. Felt like the best student film I've ever seen. With lots of rough edged, but lovingly made and with a lot of heart and good nature.
Andor S2 VERY good.
Flow is not for everyone but was for me. Cute and moving.
Black Bag more than solid. Nice companion piece to Tinker Tailor.
Sinners didn't connect fully with me, I'm more of a Peele guy, but I see the vision and value.
The Conversation: revolutionary back then but bored me.
As I expected, my new job preparing a course on experimental videogame critique that I get to teach starting next fall has led to me falling WAY behind on writing critique about the films I've seen. How ironic.
If you've seen Andor Season 2, this is a very good read detailing all the ways fascism and rebellion affect the people within

Played the demo at amaze last year and looking forward to playing the whole thing later today. Please check it out, games like this are rare and deserving of your attention and time.
Amaze in Berlin in May is the best if you wanna go smallish
Rewatching Andor right now, season 2 coming in April, Poker face season 2 in may, it's a good spring for TV
I watched some very good horror recently

Finally finished this masterpiece today. Pinnacle of flora/fauna sci-fi. What a ride. I really wish to revisit this world someday in a sequel or spinoff.

If you like Monster Movies, this is one of the rare good ones. It's no Attack the Block, but not everyone can be Wright all the time.

This may be as close to a real life Gandalf as we can get?

There is some value here if you want a campy no brains old school action film but it's mostly boring.

This is one of those films that I keep watching without being bored and yet afterwards I feel like I just wasted two hours :/

I don't know when the last time was that I enjoyed a "stupid fun movie without anything to say" this much.

Big reason why hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy was so good. There are too few light-hearted, downright unserious (but still philosophically enticing) sci fi stories.
Addiction is hard and this film depicts it really, really well.

Look, if your main character calls himself a "geomancer" and I'm not taken out of the film by that, then you've done your job.

Andor. Not cheerful, definitely hopeful.
This is the only star wars for me π―
One day hopefully I will reach this level of film critique

You can't tell me what to do, Nosferatu
