Thatโs it for Aston Martin. Their car is back in the garage and despite there still being 2hr 20mins left of the final day of F1 pre-season testing, a team spokesperson has confirmed that there will be no more running of the AMR26.

Was on a web call with the F1 CEO yesterday, which he used to insist fans will still find โan incredible spectacleโ in racing this season, despite some of the highest-profile drivers on the grid complaining publicly about their new cars ๐ฃ๏ธ
The FIA said an outcome is โexpected within the next 10 daysโ and any amendment that passes would still have to be ratified by the WMSC.
It has been agreed for a vote to be taken among F1 power unit manufacturers, the FIA and FOM on the proposal to change the regs so that the compression ratio must not exceed 16:1 even when heated up โ but not until August 1. So Mercedes look clear to use their engines up to the summer break.
