It's 2026 and these people not only have immense fortunes, but will also have access to the internet wherever they go. It's not like banishing Napoleon to Saint Helena or something. We gotta jail these people, or worse, to keep them from doing harm to us ever again.
I think the federal government doesn't have to abide by local zoning or permitting rules, unfortunately.
Apparently the reason they're able to do this about the HoCo one is because the feds were just leasing a building from a private owner, whereas the Washington County one was outright purchased by the feds. They should still think of something to do about it though.
