This is the sketch I use as reference when I'm drawing the armor now, the closest to my vision of what it should look like.

...Typing this up makes me want to draw them again......hmm...

The original design: I liked the human half ok, but the power armor was jank. The original design had 4 arms, something I dropped later.

They're a character I've used in a couple of games; A transhumanist engineer trying to fully replace their body with cybernetics. On the right is part of the design for their armor pre-conversion / their body post-conversion. It's off-model here though, too thin.

This is a piece I did a little while back, redrawing the human design for Io Lelein.

Outside of The Lore, Laikodaemon is a name that appeared in my head one day and demanded to be used. I first made the deity for the name, then used it for myself when I needed a new online handle.
Out of every name I've come up with, Laikodaemon is the one that's stuck around the longest.

One notable Laiko is the city named Laiko, deep in the deserts of the nation of Velast. Its history, and what contract it somehow took, are noticeably absent from any records. The city itself is constantly slowly moving across the desert, grinding along through unknown means.

On smaller deals, this clause isn't enforced. On dangerous and powerful deals, it is, and the dealmaker is no longer allowed to use their own name. In these cases, they go by the name 'Laiko'.

(And thus the Lore states that I have sold my soul to be ok at art)

One thing The Daemon is known for is making deals with mortals for his own entertainment. The only time these deals end well for those who make them is when they end very poorly for someone else.
Every deal made with The Daemon comes with a cost, and every cost includes one's name.

In the setting of TLB, there's a pantheon of 6 deities. One of those deities is Laikodaemon, god of truth, contracts, civilization, and lying by omission.

He really really wants to be good aligned but realistically he's neutral. He's just not very good at being good yet
