Just sent off a partial request I got today!!🎉 Then going to a dance class later!!! What is my life? If I could go back to 19 year old me finally finishing her first novel (that was a complete dumpster fire btw) where we are now, she'd be so proud!

Congrats on starting your next WIP! That's huge!
I try to find something I'm more excited about in my next WIP like a character maybe or a scene. I feel every manuscript makes me a stronger writer somehow, so I know whatever I write next will be better than the last at least in some aspect! 🤗

DWTS Season Tonight! This always marks the official start of spooky season for me! 👻🎃 (Helps fend off the seasonal depression) It's also oddly enough the time of year when I get the most writing done! (And this year I have a lot of autumn central or spooky ideas)

Finished my read through!! And have 16 pages of handwritten notes! Time for draft 3!!! Still a lot of developmental things to address and (slightly) overwhelmed but this is the best novel I think I’ve written in my writerly life so far! But also feeling like this in revision😂

Got my book on my kindle and notes back from 2 beta readers!! Time to do a read through and dive back in to actually make all the revisions!

I just got some very good feedback for draft 2! Obviously there’s still lots of work and things to improve but it made me excited to dive back in! That’s how I know it’s good feedback, when I resonate deeply and can’t wait to get deeper into revisions. 🤗
