Cool idea. You missed Lonely Isle on the map though, which is weird because the screenshot appears to be from the northern end of it.
Got two Ancient Skellies yesterday and made back half the price of the Noble Pathfinder Flag with them... I swear there's some karma system working under the hood in Sea of Thieves.

Fingers crossed the Community Direct next month is better. The game still has a lot of promise and appeal after 8 years, just needs better decision making and better building on existing systems, in my opinion.

Great to see the Noble Pathfinder sails return. Hopefully, we see more charity sails. I would also love to see recolours introduced for those who already own the originals to buy and show more support. Imagine the Noble Pathfinder with the black and blue swapped
If Sarah Bond had taken over Phil Spencer's role, I would have been more optimistic. But her leaving as well makes me think something else is up.

Update on Voidling Bound: they just announced a release date - 9th June 2026.

Voidling Bound is another one on my wishlist. There's a new demo that came out last week and it plays well. It's a creature collector with action adventure and platforming elements. No release date yet (Q1 2026) but the demo has me very excited for the full game. It plays very well on controller.
Then there's Roadside Research, which came out in Early Access last week. This seems like a game that will be fun to play with friends. Basically, you're an alien running a gas station and store, trying to collect data, and remain undetected. Another one where the roadmap looks really good.
I've already mentioned Lightyear Frontier. It's still in Early Access but was one of my most played games in 2025. The roadmap looks really good. If you want a chill farming sim with building, exploration, mechs, and co-op, check it out. I think this one will really take off whenever it hits 1.0.
I'm excited for a lot of indie games coming out or in Early Access currently. Things are looking good in that space over the next year or so.

Fun fact: I recorded over two hours of footage for the video. The reason there's no island volcano eruptions isn't through lack of trying. They just literally did not want to erupt! I was waiting on Ruby's Fall for a good hour. Also, very interesting playing with no HUD the whole time.

The evolution continued from 2022 to 2023... The final pirate is almost identical to today but without a hat
The full evolution from 2018 to 2023, when I settled on his current main look sans current hat (apart from December).

He has straps wrapped around his forearm and hand acting as gloves, a white cloth belt with a metal fleur de lis emblem off centre, and dark grey trousers. Despite being sick (stomach bug), I had a decent couple of days sailing for Sea of Thieves' Community Weekend. I'm glad they added the CoFs to the Questboard, because it gave me something low-effort to do that felt rewarding enough. I did 8 hours of that yesterday and got 9 CoFs.
I found 2 earlier when I was on for an hour or so. If you do find one, be prepared to sail to Reaper's Hideout to sell some of the loot.
Oh, and the table and chairs changing between shots... can't even keep continuity... this is absolutely abysmal in every aspect.
So much of this is devoid of life and creepy, but I think my favourite part is the portrait painting in the background changing on the close up shot of the glasses clinking.

Exactly what I've been saying. It's a nice idea but could be better. Just let us connect the two and do it automatically, like Discord does.
