I want it to be good, I really do, but this image is giving Liam Hemsworth as Geralt vibes. Itβs justβ¦not quite right
An experiential meet and greet where you must challenge your favorite creator to get your merch signed π€
US/Canada gold medal hockey is absolutely wild. Incredible pace to this game. Itβs a shame they canβt fight at the Olympics because the hate between these guys is real
I think at the heart of it, itβs βI want to experience being 14 againβ and a collective grasp for nostalgia and a return to the fleeting feeling of being carefree and ignorant, and thatβs a pink elephant that will never be caught.
Turok is coming back and itβs basically this. Should be lit
Iβm still buzzing from that episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms last night. Incredible, all around incredible. The writing, the cinematography, the acting, the action, the story, the characters. Truly, truly superb stuff.
TRU. And episode 5 was an absolute banger
Iβve seen this video floating around a couple of times already, but this is the first time Iβve seen it with the audio available.
Nearly spit my drink out π, that was very unexpected
2KXO should have started as an arcade cabinet at your local arcade and built up an audience organically. I bet it would have found its footing.
What do you mean you donβt have a local arcade?
What do you mean βwhatβs an arcade?β
The death of third spaces has rippling consequences.
On some level, I view this as a form of preservation.
I donβt know, I donβt think itβs for us. I mean, itβs for us, you know? But when I see remakes like this, I just see it as a way to bring it to the new generation who grew up on the Norse titles and never played these. Sure, the older titles are still accessible, but theyβve become ugly and dated.
There are probably a lot of ways this disaster could have been avoided. Reading the room would have been a good start.
My vae desires to be victisβd, it desires it real bad
One could make an argument that Geoff fucked Wildlight by giving them a spotlight they were unprepared for, but I think the reality is this genre of game is derivative and uninspired.
Concord, Crucible, Highguard. All a poor imitation of League of Legends, and we have League of Legends at home.
I see lots of comparison of Highguard to high profile failed projects like Concord, but really the most apt comparison is Amazon Games much maligned and now defunct Crucible.
Oh, you donβt remember Crucible? Iβm not surprised.
My gambit to hold out for a Steam Deck 2 seems like it could have been the wrong move π
My entire household has had the flu all week, including me. I would not recommend it.
What kind of holding receptacle are you using to keep the pad safe?
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is so incredibly good it makes me all the more frustrated that Game of Thrones didnβt stick the landing.
Yaβllβ¦itβs SO good
I never played Nioh 1 & 2. Do I need to play them before playing the third one, or is it not that serious?
The Olympic opening ceremony coverage by NBC is so ass. Like, can these announcers shut the fuck up?
me in my mind:
28, virile, can do 225 lbs for reps on squat cold without a warm up
me in reality:
37, a little too fat, gets back pain from sneezing
where does the time go?
Summoning circle, hope this works

The Chicagoan in me is gonna have to fight some of the people in the comments on this one

Sounds like you want Immortals of Aveum, which if memory serves didnβt do so well and ended with layoffs + studio closure. I guess audiences just want milsim slop these days
Real answer: A lot of the older, more experienced marketers that were around for the history of these individuals have been laid off and forced to exit the industry. Young and eager minds are cheaper and plentiful, while the minds who guide them are being phased out.
