Do I often leave things in weird places because of my ADHD? Yes. Am I grown 33 year old man who has lived alone for years? Yes. Did I sprint to my room, jump on the bed and burry myself in blankets like a terrified child. Maybe. (5/5)

So I wander down the hallway and petition the iGhost once more.
"I'm over here" she replies cheerfully from the floor in the middle of the living room, casting the floor in a pale whiteglow (4/5)
This reminded me of using the spirit box in Phasmophobia. Unsettling.
Regardless, I try it again: "hey Siri, where are you?"
"I'm here" A voice echos down the hallway. No thank you. But I really do need my phone to set an alarm. (3/5)
I didn't want to turn on lights and undo the nice winding down I had just done. So I tried to search for my phone in the dark. No luck.
Then I had an idea: "Hey Siri, where are you?" No response. Though I was suddenly hit with an stronge feeling of dejavu. (2/5)
I had turned off every light in the house, apart from my bedside lamp. Tucked into bed, after some reading, I decided to set an alarm and go to sleep. But my phone isn't on my night stand. Strange. I wonder where I'd left it. (1/5)
It might be just me, but I feel like these algorithms are finally getting better at understanding a person can be into more than one thing.
Thinking about starting a second YouTube channel to share writing and storytelling insights Iโve been learning in all of my research. But itโs also really tempting to just post it to the same channel as my music so I donโt have to manage two channels.
If Valve could just release the Steam Machine already, that would be great.
Iโve been getting into home lab-ing this year. Mostly trying to setup my own cloud storage so I can cancel some subscriptions. But somehow hard drives and SSDs are just sold out everywhere in Canada. I just know this is somehow the fault of AI data centres.
Finally watched โThe Greatest Beer Run Everโ and I was not ready for how good it is. I was expecting a comedy but it was super powerful. A great reminder of the real costs when politicians play checkers with human lives.
I've not had internet in my home for nearly 2 weeks now, so I've been a little behind on checking stuff, but I just saw that 139 people pre-saved my album that drops tomorrow. That's wild! I'm so grateful for the people who appreciate what I'm creating
I realize this is besides the point of your post, but I love this art and colour scheme!
Not to brag, but my Discord community of lofi producers and fans recently started a book club. Turns out the Venn diagram of people who enjoy Zelda covers and people who read fantasy novels is nearly a circle.
Lofi VGM fans rejoice! blog.humblebeats.com/p/coffee-dat...
My next Zelda album "The Lofi of Zelda: Volume 3" is done! 16 tracks of chill Zelda goodness mixed, mastered, and ready for upload. I'm just waiting to get the album cover art now.
I recently got to feature on a track for @coffeedatelofi.bsky.social 's new album! Check it out if you're a fan of Zelda or good music. open.spotify.com/album/2z4IjH...
โMany that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends.โ - Gandalf
I like that analogy! It seems like I need to start with pantsing to get myself excited about the characters but then Iโll hit some key character moment and realize I never did any setup because I wasnโt anticipating it. So then I make that moment the plot point and go back to write towards it.
Since diving into the writing world I've learned this concept of being either a "pantser" or a "plotter." I definitely thought I wanted to be a pantser until I pantsed my way into a corner and now I'm drawing maps and writing character backstories like a nerd. So that's me. What's new with you guys?
Fine. I'll release part two to Rufus' story so you can have some closure or whatever... thewaywardinn.quest/the-shade/

Google has become useless and I wasnโt going to call my doctor. Soโฆ
I was asking ChatGPT about various arrow wound locations and the level of incapacitation, lethality etc. After several replies, it began prefacing every answer with โfor the purpose of the story youโre writing.โ And I just think itโs nice that it assumes the best of me.
Heck yeah!
Hey remember when I said I was launching a new writing project called The Wayward Inn? Well it's launched! I just published my third chapter and several "lore pages". Check it out: thewaywardinn.quest
Wow Taylor Swift got engaged or whatever, cool. Anyway, hereโs Wonderwall
I don't know who this is for, but you need to use slant rhymes and assonance in your lyrics. Limiting yourself to perfect rhymes makes you sound like a children's book. Thank you.
Working on my third short story for The Wayward Inn and it's getting to the length it might need to be two parts. So I guess we're starting the countdown for how long I can keep up writing a short story anthology before I except the inevitable and just write a novel.
Soft launching a new project today: Iโm combining my love of sharing ghost stories with my love of high fantasy to write a collection of short stories all taking place in a shared fantasy world thatโs being created in real-time by myself and my community.

So do fantasy writers โadd to dictionaryโ all of their made up words and names or is fighting spellcheck part of the process?
