A little experiment done a while back in an effort to practice zbrush.
(not because I got fed up with the ship model and decided to have it sunk via serpent ๐)
His patience and craftsmanship in building those ships will always have a huge impact on me, and has inspired me to start my own projects based on the age of sail.
Itโs been a while since his passing, and each of the ships has been passed down to various family members. Luckily, we still have one!
When I was a kid, the highlight of visiting my grandpa's place was watching him build wooden model ships. He had at least ten of them scattered around the house, each from a different eraโranging from the golden age of sail to modern fishing boats.
