While not much of a horror fan himself, Daniel Gardner found the Iron Lung movie to be a great movie adaptation of a video game.

Highguard was not a bad game, but it was never able to overcome an outpouring of criticism following its announcement at The Game Awards. Just a little over a month since launch, it has announced it will be shutting down next week.

Yeah, I'm mentioned lower in the article
Every time I try to get away from that scam of a job, it comes back lol Jackson really put his research into this, though, and it's a great article about what ClickOut is doing to various gaming sites.
Not enough people talk about how great Neon White is. It's a game about trial runs where you use guns to platform yourself around obstacles and it's incredibly fun. Highly recommend it.
19. Super Mario Galaxy (100%)
Decided to go back and play through with Luigi before the movie comes out. Still great, though the Luigi playthrough adds nothing to the experience. Regardless, excited for the movie and one day I'll finally play Galaxy 2 when I have money to get it.
Metacritic has sent a reminder email to all games site editors/publishers which is pretty strong, and great:
18. Baldur's Gate 3 (100%)
Great game, but think I'm pretty done with it now after three playthroughs lol love Shadowheart and Karlach, and outside of the second act, I think it's pretty great to play the entire time. Maybe one day we'll get another D&D game to sit beside this, but it's been fun.
PokΓ©mon day is FAST approaching, and we are here to give our predictions for what games could show up at the PokΓ©mon Presents on Friday!

17. Aerial_Knight's DropShot
50 levels is way too long for the same thing constantly over and over again, but it was enjoyable enough. The falling super slow sucks, but the shooting and navigating obstacles was alright.
Not an ounce of regret in that face
Same with me and my dad, though he's not an immigrant
There was absolutely no way that this was all planned out. Spencer and Bond were told that Microsoft is going in a different direction
Umm, so things are even worse than we thought at Xbox, right?
Of course it's these ones after I played through FireRed last year on my Analogue Pocket lol still cool to see
To all my gaming writing pals:
I'm looking to make more connections in the space for professional means, and it's always great to have more friends! If anyone wants to hit me up in DM about possible Discord chats or whatever, I'd really appreciate it!

Demon Tides is a game that wears its inspirations on its sleeve. While it doesn't nail everything it sets out to do perfectly, a few minor setbacks don't take away from what is otherwise a great time.

Leaks are claiming that, unsurprisingly, Resident Evil Requiem should have DLC this year. A little more eyebrow-raising is that Resident Evil 10 is supposedly planned to release in 2029, without any potential delays, of course.

He's a great dwarf
16. Deathloop (100%)
I beat this forever ago, but went back for the completion. As much as I'll always be sad to likely never see Dishonored again, this is a good game. The 100% on this is tedious, though, with how much back and forth you have to do.
The first High on Life was funny, but it didn't leave a lasting mark. Does a game need to be more than funny to stay in your mind? Our newest writer, Daniel Gardner, explores this.

15. Far Cry 3 Classic (100%)
None of these games have a good story, but that's a laughably BAD story with one of the worst cast of characters. My first time playing this and I was a little letdown with how much people talked it up. I think Far Cry 5 is much more fun and chaotic. A little overrated.
Could such a thing happen!?
@tierlistgaming.bsky.social continues to be a ton of fun and gain steam. That said I do have to start thinking about season 2 π
So any potential guests who wanna bring a game for the tier list, start letting me know!

Echo Isle is a solo-developed game that has the Zelda GBC look down. I played its short demo and came away impressed.
Read this as "soap" at first
Gaming in general isn't in the best of spots now, but is there any sign of relief in the future for the traditional home console? Maybe not.
