My opponent did a great job bullying where those units weren't up until late in the game when he had his last good hammer doubled back to cap an objective. That put him within reach of the captain. But I got as good as I gave as he used a fight on death strat and his blade guard neutered the unit.

My chaplain with a fights first enhancement and ten death company stuck nearish the captain as long as they could, making it a really tough space for the enemy to engage in.
