We zijn afgestompt door al het gehype en geschreeuw, maar dit is diplomatiek gezien zeer serieuze taal.

OK dus Trump dreigt nu aan te vallen: Panama, Canada, Denemarken, Gaza en/of Hamas, Oekraïne (indirect), de NAVO te verlaten, Europa te verraden en is een handelsoorlog met Mexico en China gestart. Mis ik nog iets? Suicide by hybris. Of zoals ze op rechts zouden zeggen: echt een sterke leider.

Rutte probeert NAVO te redden door Zelensky volkomen ten onrechte een standje te geven. De tijd van pappen en nathouden is voorbij. Trump & Vance zijn niet langer 'mijn beste vrienden'.

Significant! BSW has just hit 5.0% on the latest projection. Would rule out two-part coalition and make only options Kenya coalition (CDU/CDU-SPD-Green) or minority government.
SHOULD FDP make it, a Grand Coalition is no longer possible. They will need the Greens (or FDP).
Turnout is much higher than in 2021 (+7.6%), which could be an anti-AfD effect and explain it's lower score than in recent polls.
Wow! DIe Linke does much better than expected, while both CDU and AfD fall below symbolically important 30% and 20%, respectively.
FDP might still make it, BSW less likely.

Interesting data point for the German election - the U18 election published its results today, with 166k participants below the voting age.
Unlike some assumptions the AfD came only fourth, with the Die Linke being quite popular with the youth again.

I’m in Munich and people keep asking me to decode Vance’s speech. OK: In Vance English “free speech” means “Let Musk run your elections” and “democracy” means “let Russia run your elections.” Now move on. 2025 is about what Europeans do, not what Americans say.
