A photo showing both colour variants of the Sang Kancil print. There is a black one on the left and a red one on the right. The print features two animals mirroring one another. At the top of the print is Sang Kancil, a small Mouse-Deer. They are printed in black against white with tree branches and leaves above them. Mirror reflected below Sang Kancil is Br'er Rabbit. Br'er Rabbit is printed white against black and features barbed branches of a briar bush instead of tree branches and leaves.
November's Printmaking Pals' print "Mirror Mirror" inspired by the similar natures and stories shared between Sang Kancil and Br'er Rabbit.
More behind the scenes about this piece and the process are on my patreon for all paying members!

I have 2 printmaking qualifications yet I know I'll never be as good as this
Day 14✨
“Sleeping Elephants” is a 2 colour reduction linocut print on 10x12”steel grey Stonehenge paper. It’s really cool looking back on all the printmaking I’ve done in the last few years. #artadventcalendar is definitely giving me some extra motivation for prints in 2024 ❤️
What is your favourite app / software for extracting colours and creating custom palettes?

Da ich mein Linolkrams jetzt wieder schön sortiert habe, hier der geschnitzdruckte Jim.
We will be patient. It’s all very exciting. ✌🏼
It’s hurting our little brains. Hopefully it gets populated with loads more creatives who work with print soon :)
That sounded condescending? The problem is we are trying to find accounts to follow but are having issues with that. This is what we are asking for advice for…
Thank you for your patience and help. It’s all very new to us. haha. We will keep at it and see if we can build a nice community of creatives who utilise print.
How do we find more printmakers? Show your heads.
Can we make a feed?
It’s a shame it doesn’t pull GIFs to add to the link card though :(
We put together a nice bunch of products from our community.

Does ALT text affect the search results too? This would obviously be good for machine learning if every single image ever uploaded has descriptive text associated with it.
Mobile at moment. Is desktop different?
That makes sense. So basically a full description of the image.
We are searching for things like graphic design, printmaking etc but it is only showing individuals.
Great stuff. We’ve done another post and tested it out. Did it work?
