It kinda got lost in all the racing excitement last weekend, but ya girl FINALLY got her surgery date for late this summer!

yuuuup! Sadly doesn't save my race. Oh well at least I was up front of the 21 car field all weekend. Even had a few full time cup drivers show up. ^^

Wow a rare win! I was able to get my FFS covered by United. However after being forced to change employers, I was SHOCKED at how many blanket denials Aetna (new plan) gives out. So many procedures I had under my old insurance would not have been covered. I still fear where this goes federally -.-

Damn I didn't realize we had that power! In that case, I'm declaring racing is a girl's sport now! 🤣
While the result wasn't what I wanted I'm so heartened by the fact I was back to racing at the front, and I'm very excited for the rest of the season to come!
This resulted in me getting shoved off and losing multiple positions. So my possible podium turned into a 9th place finish after penalties were applied.
Sadly today wasn't the result I wanted. We started with dry tires on a wet track. This call proved to be correct as 4 laps in a nice dry line developed. I had just fought my way up to 4th, but another driver attempted a divebomb that he couldn't pull off.

Final qualifying is done and the field is set. I line up 8/21 cars. While that number doesn't sound as good as yesterday's 4th, all the times are super close. So I just need to be smart and make sure I'm there at the end!

after 1.5 seasons with a dud motor I was beginning to doubt myself but this weekend it's beginning to feel like I'm back home!
FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!!! Today was the first qualifying session for this weekend's race and I ended up 4/21! That's a nice solid strong result and finally at the sharp end of the field! <3

In GA I was able to just update my license details. Then I went in for an updated picture too. Before I did that I had people legitimately refusing to use it because there's no way that could be me XD
Issok since my diagnosis in '22 I go in twice a year for an infusion, and I can happily report I've had no lesion growth and no disability! :D Between this and HRT modern medicine kinda rocks!
