I talked to @heyjohnryan.bsky.social at KUOW about adapting to increasingly strong atmospheric rivers, and that reducing risk ultimately requires tackling GHG emissions.

My god the depravity of this administration
My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.
Proud to be a part of the “powerhouse” legal group taking on the Trump-Vance administration for people and communities.
Thank you. There are organized and well paid agents of doubt that seed the information environment with propaganda and misinformation at absolute light speed. Be for real. Scientists could simply muster the courage to take a political position on anti-science, anti-democratic power.
