The coating was already damaged and missing from part of the screen; it'll certainly look better to have a uniform screen with no coating than one with uneven missing spots.

Disabled gay elf princess. Creative type with too many interests. Loves Zelda and Tolkien way too much; loves Tina even more. <3 You may know me from the HM64 projects/modding scene. :

I've been recommending Gumption to people for years - basically the same stuff, but difficult to get in most of the world, as there's a very different cleaning product with the same name. Great to know about equivalent alternatives!
Clever little budget-priced CPRG just left early access with a good launch discount, too.
A weird swampy fantasy setting, semi-real-time combat ala Vagrant Story and a cool claymation-esque art style. Also hugely undersold so far.
Go check it out, RPG folks.
My work - and it is work - takes time/effort/skill/money/research and more often than not nobody else is offering translated explanations of RE zombie HP mechanics, Pili RPG coverage, or a 10 article series on Power Dolls spanning multiple decades. Please just... be supportive, OK?
Twitter post from Pokémon where they post a picture of a statement they posted on June 3, 2020. They captioned it #BlackLivesMatter and the statement says: "Here at the Pokémon Company International, we believe in friendship, inclusivity, and equity. These are the values that anchor the Pokémon brand. There is no place for oppression within our community. We stand in solidarity with our Black employees, fans, and families who continue to be impacted by the systematic racism and senseless violence. We will be making a $100,000 donation to the NAACP and a $100,000 donation to Black Lives Matter. Our commitment to you is ongoing, and our support will be as well. We believe that Black Lives Matter."
Pokémon today: "Our mission is to bring the world together, and that mission is not affiliated with any political viewpoint or agenda."
Pokémon almost 6 years ago:
Yeah, you can't be apolitical and be against the racism and violence Black people face. Those two can't co-exist at the same time.
And if you're against that then you shouldn't be ok with the violence that ICE is doing towards innocent folks either...
I think you either love it or hate it; very much the kind of thing that either clicks with you just right, or rubs you the wrong way.
It's not what Casey was wanting but there is a browser extension to detect AI usage in Steam games. You'll get a pop up informing you of it, especially if they didn't disclose it.

Ocarina of Time, Soul Reaver, Secret of Mana, Final Fanttasy VIII, Symphony of the Night, Super Metroid, Resident Evil 4, Devil May Cry 3, Donkey Kong Country 2
Here we go, maybe this one's a little more interesting. xD

Is this a boring list?
This feels a little boring... Perhaps better to limit it to one representative per series...
Unfortunately, the BBC's formal decision to "pivot to Reform" under DG Tim Davie has been fully institutionalised, and is not based on a logical model so much as internalised ideology and systemic inertia.

Don't worry, guys, the USA's Holy War to bring about the apocalypse will end when Jesus comes back and takes us all to paradise! World War 3 is all part of the plan!
American Evangelical Christianity is a violent doomsday death-cult that will kill us all if someone doesn't stop them.
Blacklist Sentona Games from any future work or from buying any of their products, this is a scam company actively exploiting international workers.
Make sure to boost this information every.

“Many of their commanders are especially delighted with how graphic this battle will be zeroing in on how bloody all of this must become in order to fulfill and be in 100% accordance with fundamentalist Christian end of the world eschatology.”
Remember folks - the will of the people only matters if it's in alignment with the will of the Oligarchy.
They will try to manipulate you into thinking you want what they want, but if they can't get that, they will simply go ahead without your approval. They don't need it; it's a "nice to have."
OK, here we go! This is my take on Resident Evil: Requiem: 2100+ words on excellent battles, polished graphics, hollow, empty storytelling, a, um, game even more terrified of the unknown than its new lead character, and an aching, ruinous need for nostalgia:

I have experienced numerous crashes, though, losing progress. Very sad and annoying, marring an otherwise good experience with some rough performance in places.
I have more than enough games I can fish, and grow crops, and cook, and decorate my house, and make the neighbours like me... but the world got me interested, and I'm rather invested in making this little village grow.
Jokes aside, I am enjoying it.
It feels grounded within the world of Tolkien; respects and understands the source, but isn't obnoxious about it - Gandalf shows up when it feels right, rather than being a permanent fixture. The Gamgees and Bilbo are mentioned organically; it never feels forced.
So, I've been playing this game, "Tales of The Shire" and I gotta say, they went in a weird direction compared to the *other* "Tales of" games I've played!
And they wonder why Greens and Independents are surging in First Choice votes.
Vote Greens; Labor have failed us with NeoLiberal bullshit.
But the suits' profits on paper are more than last time! Think of the theoretical value!
And when they finally succeed in their spin of the Live Service roulette wheel, they'll have infinite money!!
Think of the Suits and investors!!

"Preemptive bombing in self-defence" is a hell of an Orwellian doublespeak way to say "attacking them."
hi, i played the newzealand story untold adventure on steam, the remake of taito's 1988 classic arcade platformer, it's very bad!! i was gonna save this for a stream but it's too much of a downer
so here's a thread of things that are bad about it
Finally updated the list in here so it actually includes my most recent Outbreak and Village features 🫠
(18 entries! Not bad, eh?)
Due to popular demand, here is a demonstration video of how to make 3D printed PCBs using just vector drawing software, a 3D printed (PETG filament for mine) and self-adhesive copper tape. Any questions, let me know!
Yeah, this is a huge part of it. Not just planned, but *forced* obsolescence, and the complete inability to upgrade or repair anything.
The battery fails, and it's in the bin, because it's glued together, removing it will shatter the screen, and you can't buy the part anyway.
HATE "disposable" tech!
You can reclaim your privacy and detangle yourself from big tech, if you're willing to make the effort - these corporate greed-beasts have weaponised "convenience" against a population predisposed to find the path of least resistance.
The next phone I own will be something I build myself from a Pi.
