People don't like being called or out on their bullshit. As a Black woman I've known many people who are nice but unfortunately also racist. It's crazy but true. Are racist people with half Black grandchildren that they adore. IT'S. FUCKED. UP.
There are those who don't know and those who hide it. They never want to admit they are racist even if it's obvious. It's like people with mental illness... some talk about it, some hide it, some have no idea until it's pointed out, and some refuse to admit to it.
In my experience many have no idea.
