Detained Man Says ICE Isn’t Treating His Colon Cancer The Guatemalan man told officials that he had colon cancer when he first arrived at Otay Mesa Detention Center, according to his medical records.

In 2020, a Congressional oversight committee found that widespread failure to provide necessary medical care contributed to ICE detainee deaths.

At least six people have died in ICE custody since President Trump took office, per the @aila.org.
