Can you show me where the info about Loihi 3 is from? I’ve seen a few fake articles on LinkedIn about the IEEE showing something that Loihi 3 and I can’t find anything related to it myself

It's still being worked on. They're focused on open sourcing nest as well as a better algorithm for git compatibility. It's just progressing a bit slower than the full steam development of other tools like jj
Ahhhh I misread. Also hadn’t really given that any thought. It’s good to keep in mind. Thanks!
And for that last statement regarding —watch(now typst watch after 0.13) - I’m having the same issue. Really would love that
Can you elaborate on that? I've been able to use something like: github.com/ItsEthra/typ... to see how the text looks as I write. Is that what you mean?

Finally settled on note taking and just went the Apple Notes Smart Folder route with tagging. Seems the best via a pencil and just getting things done. So far it's been pleasant. Only gripe I have is that you can't zoom in and out of Notes. Freeform looks promising but has no dark mode yet
Oh nice you got access to it?? I'm still waiting.
Are you finding it good for just getting started? How's it with larger codebases?
compiler hates me
What are some favourite apps for note taking via ipad?
I’m currently using Obsidian, but drawing latency is high. There’s also Capacities but it doesn’t look like there’s any drawing capabilities yet.
I’m honestly just thinking about going back to Apple Notes, but thought to ask here first
What’s the state of Pijul atm? Have you been keeping track?
I’ve been following for years, but haven’t seen any updates since May/June roughly. I only came across your tag after reading the Sanakirja blog today.
That’s a cute squeaker
Comes across as a flex, but idc. Just cementing how much I value it
Couldn’t agree more. Incredible for tweaking and finding my disturbances to sleep better. I also use 7 hours as the floor for a good sleep
If screenshots, no. But when they’ve walked through their process and shown off material as proof of their work, then yeah definitely.
Especially for game devs, it’s a lot of fun to try and simulate how they did what they did, no matter how basic
Oh and I use it full time at work in a large codebase too. It’s very nice and snappy and connects to LSPs really well.
I’ve only ever switched to a JetBrains IDE when I really need that extra powerful debugger
Think I’ve been using it for about 3 years now? The strides they’ve made have been incredible. It’s lacking a filetree because they’re looking to add it after they’ve released the plugin feature.
But yeah, great theme selection out of the box and they’ve even got DAP running on it
Yeah between deno and bun it’s been nothing but incredible. Still holding out on wasm. But still cautiously skeptical
Yeah correct and I agree about the pendulum swing. The deal with frameworks for clients has been so painful because of just wanting to get stuff done without needing a doctorate in it. It’s just nice that there’s deliberate thought happening. I was just more discussing uses through my experiences
Not sure if you’ve read up on Carson Gross’ essays or any of his interviews but he does touch on most of what you’ve said. I’m not putting it forward as ‘the better way’. But it has helped me question how much of what we’re using really is needed. And the way we do it too
I just see it as a silent form of suffering when we bring things into the client at this point in time. I think it’s better because I don’t have to think about side effects(useEffect anyone?). And I can get most of the computation done via the server. Using it this past year has been so refreshing
I’m going to have to disagree on that. It’s not just about the JSON APIs, it’s how everything is returned. If you’re SSR then you don’t need to return JSON. You’re doing HTML(server) > JSON > back to HTML(client).
There’s definitely a need for it. But it’s definitely less to leverage HTMX
…with Agritech that I’m hoping to break into. Mini projects have already been done. Hopefully will be able to share the code in a while.
This will be my own venture and after a year of just working, learning and dreaming - I think I’ve finally set myself up to pursue this more seriously
Started work on a project that will leverage neuromorphic computing to reduce power consumption. Makes no sense to ping a server farm. This is some of the reading I want to look into:
neurotechai.eu/blog/2019/11...
github.com/lava-nc/lava
I’ve already worked on microprocessors that help…
There’s no irony in the implementation though? It’s HATEOAS instead of returning JSON to manage state etc.
The existence of it wasn’t to eliminate JavaScript but rather to reframe what you can do without needing a framework at the outset
Honestly Trash Panda from an IntelliJ theme has been a theme that’s ruined all others for me. It’s just been incredible to have
