You could even limit it to a certain number of pauses or even just one pause per month, but as I'm now an adult who actually has to sometimes leave his apartment for longer than the span of a grocery trip I would like the option to not lose time I paid for due to life circumstances.
It would be so nice if you pay for a sub for a month but have something major happen that is going to take over your time for the foreseeable future (having to take a work trip for a full week, having a kid, etc), if you could just get a free "pause" to put on your sub time to pick back up later on.

God how awesome would a turn-based Star Wars RPG be though? They already have classes and the like that you could grind just like jobs in FF3/5 or so many others. You could do tactics style, party v party style, it would just work so well. Heck Jedi are basically mages anyways.

This is all the same shit I kept wondering why they didn't have some equivalent for. I'm hoping the later "stages" or whatever you want to call them unlock those features because there's a lot of QoL that seems gated behind progress, but I'm not holding out much hope for some of it.
It took the real-time clock and some of the waiting from Animal Crossing and took basically everything else sans combat from DQB and I'm all about it.
It's basically Builders 3 but with a real-time clock and a big emphasis on putting each villa- I mean Pokemon in a home/habitat.
