A - DAO

Well, I wanted to play Yotei, but guess I won't then. More time for other games.

Those were my thoughts as well. I switched to PC last year. Sold my PS5 & kept the Series X as Blu-ray player. If the Sony & Xbox games go back to console only I just won't play them anymore and play other things instead. 🤷‍♂️

So, shift in strategy from market expansion and revenue growth to margin protection.

Younger and less affluent players aren't going to leave their established games and low barrier of entry platforms, and dedicated PC players will just play other things.

But sure, higher margin % on lower revs.

Yea, I can imagine. 😄 Do you mean Watch Dogs? I played the first one (never finished), but liked the setting and I played the 3rd one, Legion, which I had a fun time with as well. :)

A - DAO

The OG takes it for me here. That banter is legendary. Morrigan, Wynne, Zevran, Shale, well .. everyone tbh haha

DA2 & DAI are right behind it imo. Very close. As much as I love Veilguard, due to the reduced party I found the banter quite lacking in comparison tbh 😭

I love Academy so far & I'm what you'd call a "true Trekkie", grew up with Old Trek. I think they did a great job with the Academy setting following Discovery. Would love to see it continue after S2 or even better, how about a follow-up show that has several of the cadets serve on the same ship

It's what ultimately made it more fun for me. Instead of just shooting my way through a quest (which you can still do) I'd look for a camera and work my way through the building remote-☠️ ing everyone and then just go in, loot & do the quest goal. 😆

I need to ask a friend to take a picture again, cause it's long healed now and it looks so good. Even better maybe with the settled colours. And the artist worked his ass off for 6 hours haha

I got a car, but I already had like 10 at that point and a gun, which I also already had better stuff. Plus, I mainly played as a netrunner and kept frying my opponents brains and hacking turrets to get rid of them. 😁

The fixer contracts weren't really worth it imo. Only did a few & then, once I completed the game, I did finish one fixer's contracts to see what it yields. Thankfully I'm healed when it comes to all the generic open world activities. 😆 I used to do them in the past. But I did all the side quests.

I get it. Too many games. 😅 I tried to stick to a main quest until that one was done, then I did a bunch of side stuff before continuing another main quest. I recommend giving it another go.

A - Wynne. I expect she knows a spell. Also, tiny side rant (cause it always drives me crazy😭🤣 and I love Wynne), they did her a bit dirty with the white hair. The way she talked, when I first played DAO I thought she was like 70 or 80 or sth. She's 50! 😭 She's out there partying & getting down 😎

Worst thing, just like with Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan & else: it's the people there that suffer the most. Iran needs to change, but so do the US, Russia, China & basically every country where humans are not treated equally (which is everywhere?). But dropping bombs on them is not gonna bring about change

Checking out Marathon... it's rough 🫣 at least imo. I tend to be very positive on games, but this has to be the worst UI I have ever seen 😅 gun game feels good, it's Bungie's staple. But the rest... having played Arc Raiders first I'm afraid it'll have a tough time. I don't see this succeed 🤕

B - DA2 (it's actually my most played overall I think, but they're pretty even all of them)

Habe schon ca 6 Stunden ins Spiel versenkt. Gerade als Trekkie und großer Voyager-Fan fühlt es sich wie nach Hause kommen an. Kann mir das Prinzip auch sehr gut für alle anderen Serien vorstellen. Die verschiedenen Enterprises (Archer, Kirk, Pike, Kelvin) DS9, Discovery, usw...

A long time ago, when the first Xbox launched. Had to decide between Xbox or PS2 & when I saw DoA3 & Halo it was clear. I'm bad at fighting games, but DoA is my favorite (then VF) & I loved the interactive stages. One of my fav systems & the combat system feels best to me of all fighters tbh, you?
