Almost none of these guys in this administration have ever experienced the raw horror of battle. Pink Floyd’s “The Fletch Memorial Home” comes to mind when I hear these self-absorbed monsters, like our Russian asset in the Oval Office or the "Christian" leading the so-called Department of War.
The idea that we have leaders and influencers who eagerly ascribe to this cult-like “Christian” belief should reveal just how loveless their “gospel” is. This is no different than jihadist extremism or something Jim Jones concocted. This is the same Kool-Aid.

The "Christians" who're excited by the Armageddon narrative spouted by MAGA politicians, influencers, and certain members of the US military don’t give a damn about anyone other than themselves. Their explanations sound no different from Rick Moranis’s in the Keymaster scene in Ghostbusters.

Absolutely. I was turned on to his music while working at a record shop in Memphis. The Inflated Tear was just released and the whole album touched my core. Words don’t adequately convey the title track’s raw visceral power and the dream-state moments of suspension. It’s transcendent.

Roland Kirk, blind since early childhood, often wielded three saxes at once (tenor, stritch, and manzello) to create music startling in its emotional impact; a sound that could capture childlike play, rage, grief, beauty, and always be soulful. Kirk gets love on this 238th Air-Conditioned.

If you have an electric or hybrid-electric car, challenge your county clerk’s office and write your politician, before you write that check. If they need the money, why not charge the fossil fuel drivers instead, to encourage them to consider supporting greener technology?

Granted, electric cars and their lithium batteries are not perfect. How about running on solar and wind? But that is another discussion, and electric and hybrid cars are a big step in the right direction. Look at your renewal forms before you pay.

I was getting ready to renew my Tennessee car tags for 2026 and was surprised to see a $100 "Electric Car Fee" added for driving a Camry Hybrid. This is proof that the majority of politicians in Tennessee (MAGA Republicans) are totally bought by the fossil fuel industry.
