Well this was something nice to wake up to. Congrats to our entire crew!

Looks like an interesting list. I've not seen any of these. Cheers!
Read My Lips - Jacques Audiard (2001) Anatomy of Hell - Catherine Breillat (2004) Laura - Otto Preminger (1944) Gloria - Charles Vidor (1946)
This is what happens when you're a Criterion Channel junkie. What's your #llast4watched? #letterboxdfriday

Those are indeed cool. Wish I had enough space on my desk for one.
Nice to see a fellow Criterion junkie. :)
Julian Slater is a very interesting soundie. Cornish has apparently been developing Snow Crash for a decade. Hope it happens.
My wife wrote thousands of articles for a popular online health organization. All of it is scraped to the point where she can tell ChatGPT to write an article about (xxxx) in the style of (her name), and it will do it flawlessly. There is very little poltitical or judicial resistence to ending this.
Rad! Congrats!
Saw it. Wife liked it. Congrats on the #1!
Haha. I would love to see that. I bet Ben would too.
This movie is going to make a lot of people very happy. Maybe reserve judgement until you see it?
I've never really focused on a personal style per se, but I'm sure it's there just because I do what's in my head rather than intentionally copying something that someone else did. I always just focus on doing the most appropriate and/or cool thing I can think of in the moment.
Theaters in Burbank are great in regards to respecting the movie (audiences are usually packed with industry) but I still have to wait for streaming on this one. I just can't take sitting for 3 hours anymore.
Love it!
I need to judge more things in the meat space.
Fact: The sequel to this meme will get significantly more likes than the original.
A filed cup in any capacity is also filled with the inverse proportion of air so factually, all cups are always full.
There've been a few. That's a good list tho. I'd probably throw The Martian in there over T&L.
I was just leaving for there. Maybe I'll stay home for a bit.
Ok, so now I know what I'm doing for lunch. Thanks!
Most of the offerings I'm seeing lately are narrowly focused functionality that I can usually get 98% there with plugins that I own already. Easy for me to resist these things. I'll spend a little year-end money on some sound FX to support people tho.
how fun!
It's the same deal with film/tv. Work begets work. If you have no game credits, you're up against those who do so you're pretty much back at the bottom rung and have to work your way back up. I went through this when I moved from games to films. None of my AAA game credits counted for anything.
Every time I do my sweep, I issue one of these.
Just a few small things. lol
A new way to waste time! Yay!
If there's any cool news related to #sounddesign, I'm hear for it!
Sorry I missed you. Working from home these days.
