The climbing gear has returned to the shelves in the back room. :(
Wow. And I thought government construction projects moved slowly.

Home again, after a good week of climbing in Squamish. Due to weather and scheduling issues, I climbed 6 days in a row, and was very tired by the end of it. Luckily, it actually rained on day 7, so we saw spawning and dead salmon, packed up, relaxed, drove back to Vancouver, and had good sushi.
YOW -> YVR, then on to Squamish.
Not nearly as many of these posts any more. :(
This trip is climbing, to nobody's shock or surprise.
Welcome home!
Sounds tasty.
That was a lovely Canada-day long weekend(ish) at the cottage. Thank you everyone who joined me and made it a good time. And, especially, thank you weather for presenting us with an awesome weekend of weather for all our cottage activities.
An orange hedge-trimmer with electrical tape at the handle end, then about a meter of garden hose and an electric plug at the end of the garden hose.

"your gorgeous country"???? Don't you have a "golden ticket"?
Exactly. Or through Montreal.
:(
There are direct Canada -> Mexico flights where you don' t have to transfer/transit in the US. Mexico city ends up being a common transfer point for those.
Finally a weekend with a solid forecast of two days of climbing weather! Today, got out for a light day at Lac Sam, hitting Pink Floyd Wall and Gully Wall with Bart.
Tomorrow, aiming for Panorama/Bowman with a bit bigger crew.
Yeah... just 10.
Maybe we read more than is normal? :)
I linked somebody to Digger (diggercomic.com) today, and I had to carefully not click through and read the first couple pages as I KNOW that's how an accidental archive binge starts.
I have a "hiking perfume" sometimes, especially in the spring. It's called DEET. :)
That's me! It was lovely!
Lovely afternoon to be out climbing at Lac Sam!
Best part was Carleton where Polievre lost his seat.
Ok, that was an acceptable election result.
Carleton, of course, has fewest of the polls reporting so far.
At least that's what CBC is showing, for Fanjoy.
3K to 2K now.
And, I wonder how often the Lib & Con leaders have run in adjacent ridings?
I will not obsessively refresh the election results. I will not obsessively refresh the election results.
I wonder if Carleton is going to be THE last riding to actually report results? Cause they've got a LONG (I understand about a meter long) night ahead of them counting ballots.
