I have all of those. I was new to X-Men and the Welcome to the X-Men Kitty Pryde a couple issues before this was my first issue (after reading my friends copies of the previous issues!).
Also was a huge fan of DC Comics Presents, I loved seeing different character's logos every issue.
Great article, the end of that issue still hits hard even just seeing those last few pages in your blog. It is definitely a shame what happened over the years but this reminds me how the book is still one of the GOATs.
Idk, UE6 is supposedly merging with UEFN (Fortnite), which has always encouraged making player created content more accessible. The older Fortnite Creative Mode even works on consoles. I think Epic is interested in making modding easier not harder in the next version of UE. We'll see though.
I learned because of the Kitchen Sink reprints in the 80s. So glad for that because those are the best comics ever! I even saw Eisner at a con and now I can say that I literally have a signed Contract with God!
I've finally been reading this on Global Comix... probably should have started years ago, but on the other hand I think I picked a pretty good week for it!
I just got a sub to GlobalComix for Black Friday and this ended up being the first thing I read on it! Really blown away by this story, now onto volume two!
