And the display is saying 25 minutes and it’s midnight… (not that I believe the 25 minutes anymore)
This view is perfect for me - the rush to get outside (usually late at night) to hopefully not just miss a 65 or 371 bus to Kingston.
The brilliant @darrenhayman.bsky.social has been gradually painting all of London’s tube stations… and I was willing him to get to Richmond, which is the one I use the most… and now he has and I’m pleased to own a bit of his art at last!
Grey old day - but fabulous blackthorn out on our little stretch of @thamespathnt.bsky.social on the way to and from
Kingston #Parkrun this morning. Back to our A route as Ham Lands has emerged from the flood water.
Usual poor photos of a good night at Ramsgate Music Hall seeing the wonderful @skepwax.bsky.social Heavenly and the Would-Be-Good with friends old and new.
Kicked off the day in the beautiful @theroyalparks.bsky.social #BushyPark - lovely pre-7am sunrise with a low mist.
207 is still operating too. Once walked the length of the Uxbridge Rd, Shepherd’s Bush roundabout to Uxbridge, not a walk I’d wholeheartedly recommend…
Nice little stroll around @rbgkew.bsky.social to see the spring springing. Even a little bit of blue sky and sunshine as well.
Nope, same 65! We got to poke around the garden (no longer his house obviously, but the corner is still named after him) as part of Petersham Open Gardens a few years back. I normally just go as far as Richmond, Ealing is VERY LONG!
65 bus to Gunnersbury Park this morning for the indie-poppers #Parkrun. Ran past two ponds and two caffs, but no obvious ice-cream shop on a chill Saturday morning. Lovely one-lapper. Thanks to all the volunteers!

Terrible picture of Heavenly being rather wonderful tonight. Hard to say whether the new songs are even better than the old songs or if the old songs, being familiar friends… eek, one or the other! Here’s to doing it all again in Ramsgate next week anyhow.

Ham House crocuses are pretty stunning in the very welcome sunshine.
With apologies to the two drummers involved… great to see Railcard, @mccookerybook.bsky.social and Would-be-goods tonight at Water Rats in some excellent company.
Out and about today enjoying a wonderful new mud-free central London walk from Bazalgette Embankment at Blackfriars to Battersea Power Station via Tyburn Quay, the Isle of Effra, Effra Quay and Heathwall Quay. Rain mostly held off. New spaces, art and sculpture really fab.
Cold sunny super-friendly Bridport #Parkrun for me today, sort of nearly on the way home to south west London from South Devon.
Hooray for this swim spot round our way. Dont swim there often, but love it when i do!

The new Heavenly video is "Scene Stealing" (a subject of which we know very little here at K):

Is it a very dull theme park?
Also, love this sign!
It’s filthy muddy everywhere so we had a wander round the parks and streets of Croydon today to take in some of the @nationalgalleryuk.bsky.social Art on Your Doorstep.
We often used to think that was a good strategy… but on the other hand, they rather changed my life (for the better!)
It just means “basement” but sounds nicer. Though being on a hill we were 2 floors up at the back which allowed some daylight!
My very strong preference is Hampton Pool, but with Bushy Park shut in the early mornings again… I am counting the weeks!
The path from @thamespathnt.bsky.social into Richmond Old Deer Park disappeared into an unexpected lake on my way to the swimming pool this morning. Although given all the relentless rain I shouldn’t have been too surprised. If I’d known the outdoor pool was going to be shut…
If only you knew! But it’s a beautiful street and I suspect the flat may no longer be aimed at students. Hope you make it one day!
I often feel #SarahRecords gets a bit unfairly overlooked in the Bristol culture / counterculture narrative - what with our total failure to ever be cool - so I’m extra pleased we’re included in the lovely looking A Bristol Con Banksy, taking our rightful place between Massive Attack and Cary Grant.
Some wonderful goodies in the post from Circuitry waiting on the doorstep when I got back from Parkrun this morning, hurray!
I was pleased to get this @gojauntly.bsky.social notification the other day when I hit the 250k mark in the Walk 2026k in 2026 Challenge #LondonLoop
