the feeling I'm getting using Claude at work is that if you're a good engineer with deep knowledge of the codebase, it can make you a lot more productive. if you're a mediocre engineer with surface level knowledge of the codebase, it can also make you a lot more productive, which is BAD.

I think the individual takeaway here is that if you're using these tools, you need to treat their output with skepticism. we also need to organize to change the conditions around which we use these things; getting squeezed for more AI generated PRs by bosses is just going to result in disaster.

Doodled a Leaf design for meself

my OC keitha as a mermaid. she is a muscular woman even her tail appearing muscular, with wavy black hair tied in a ponytail. she is wearing an orange & red top that is ripped on one side. her tail is red, with a tailfin that is white and orange, replicating the look of fire.

my OC dorado as a merman. he has a gray afro with some yellow strands sticking out of it. he is wearing a yellow bandana. his tail and the edge of his tailfin are yellow, while most of the tailfin is gray. the tailfin is vaguely shaped like two lightning bolts put together.
