Overall, I thought Requiem was a wonderful culmination of the series. It was an affectionate send-off, which unfortunately meant the absence of certain characters was very much felt, but that's really my only complaint, and I know it wasn't feasible to include *everything*.

I loved RE9. I've seen complaints about its back half, but I enjoyed it because there were so many different things to do. A lot of it felt like action-oriented puzzles, figuring out how to traverse areas and clear rooms. It didn't feel as tedious as the last 1/3 of Village to me.

For ppl who aren't aware:
Old temperate forests are insanely rare nowadays and extremely important ecosystems lost forever once cut.
They're not just "old trees" but intricate networks of trees, fungi and all kinds of living creatures.
You CANNOT replant this!! Once it's gone it's lost FOREVER!!!

Yesss the atmosphere is incredible! I'm so glad we're going to Scotland in the '90s as well. I'm all for SH games being in new locations as long as they capture the series' atmosphere, and they really seem to have succeeded in that.
