Thank you Governor Whitmer for signing my bill into law. As we transition from old and outdated small scholarships, we are able to offer more funding to our flagship Michigan Achievement Scholarship, providing students with up to $5,500 every year.

Quote in white text on blue background with image of state capitol: "I am pleased to see Governor Whitmerβs inclusion of funding for water affordability in her proposed FY 2026 budget. Whether you have water coming out of your tap shouldnβt depend on how much money you have or where you live in the state. From big cities to suburban towns and rural communities in every corner of our state, more and more Michiganders are struggling to pay their water bills. Michigan has made significant strides to provide water assistance, and now is the time for Michigan to invest strongly in water affordability solutions and pass bipartisan water affordability legislation." - Stephanie Chang

My committee assignments for the 103rd Legislature. Honored to serve as the ranking Democratic member on two committees this term.
I'm very worried about #Michigan's #agriculture sector as a result of the #TrumpTariffs / #TrumpTax. We export so much of our products to our neighbors, and this could destroy our state's economy, not to mention the major effects on the auto and manufacturing sectors π

The Michigan House of Representatives passed my bipartisan legislation to make hearing aids for children more affordable.
No child deserves to live with untreated hearing loss, especially when we have the tools to make their lives and learning easier.
Thank you to everyone who came out for our Bloomfield monthly Community Conversation. We spoke about bill statuses for lame duck and what our residentβs priorities are.
