My late husband used to be able to identify who was ghosting art for various people. It was part of his story about what he did when working at Gold Key, but everyone in the industry knew about Bob Kane’s “art.” That Bill Finger was the writer for Batman was not quite so public for a long time.

We have a poltergeist. Started less than 2 months ago. It rattles, kind of like a wind-up toy tapping across a wood surface. We can’t figure out what it is. It’s erratic. Some days we don’t hear it at all. Others, it rattles throughout the day at irregular intervals. May it move to the Oval Office.

I figured they’d pull some bullshit like this to continue the multi-generational failure to perform military service. My father, whose repeated dislocated shoulder and flat feet should have kept him out of WWII, hitch-hiked to enlist in the Navy after the news hit about Pearl Harbor. #FuckBarron.

This is so very true. I miss being able to go and sift through cds and dvds. Many years ago, I used to go over to Tower Records on Friday or Saturday nights to run into friends and buy stuff.
