I really enjoyed Planet of Lana 2, it builds well on what the first established and raises the bar:

Liz Truss lasted longer than Highguard. That is incredibly grim. Live service is... Unsustainable?

Can't wait for the next season of White Lotad

Yeah I'm a Browt boy through and through that angry bird has my entire heart
A Green victory, Pokemon day, and a Ghosts movie announced? Neat Friday

Demon Tides is one of my favourite platformers in recent memory, and one with some surprisingly grand ambitions that it absolutely lives up to - roll on Bubsy 4D! www.thegamer.com/demon-tides-...
I'm launching a site! Booster Pack is an independently run and community-funded site dedicated to TCGs like Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Lorcana, and Yu-Gi-Oh!
Been working on this for a while, and I'm excited to finally be showing it off!

Romeo is a Dead Man reviews are all over the place, and that absolutely tracks.
It's filled to the brim with odd moments and decisions. It's fun enough, but its frenetic and bewildering narrative choices made it hard to parse and difficult to score.

New Mock the Week seems good, it's lovely to have it back, but holy wow Russell Howard seems to have barely developed his comedy, references, or taste in 15 years.
I had the chance to sit down with Blizzardβs Hearthstone team to see how they reimagined Warcraftβs end-of-the-world storyline for the card game. The devs apparently love making us feel the end of the world.

Threat? Request? Either way, no.
I got the most polite death threat today. It's my first one!
In almost five years of gaming journalism, my only death threat has been from a comedy piece I did about hunky dragons. Weird.
Omg I do that all the time and always think "hmm are they gonna think I'm weird for liking so quickly?" π
While it's too easy for my tastes to really hit the right spoon, the Dragon Quest VII remake is still a wonderful adaptation of what used to be a gruelling experience.

Losing all your loot upon death makes me immediately disable the mech via options or mods, or simply not play. It's the most infuriating thing 7DTD, Enshrouded, and Valheim the worst offenders
My reaction exactly. It's one of the ones that doesn't feel real
Oh god, Catherine O'Hara is a sad, sad one. That's fucking depressing.
I need to formulate a proper pitch/structure for it but I totally will π
Really want to write about the way I view my disease through a gaming lens (it's a permanent debuff!) and how that specific linguistic cognition helps reframe things and cope with the changes. Hmmmm.
Whoops forgot to say I reviewed Code Vein 2. Itβs a good time! I got weirdly attached to the characters and, especially, my wife JosΓ©e

The most infuriating thing: letting the nurse give me one vaccine PER ARM. So I've got the pain flooding in from BOTH SIDES.
I'm stupid, sometimes, aye.
I need four vaccines before I start a new treatment. I had two yesterday, so both my arms hurt and I feel like shit. I have the COVID one on Saturday, so I'm going to feel like shit on my first anniversary, and then I've got two weeks until Shingles, which means I get to look forward to that, too.
A selfie of me and Rob, my husband, as he puts an arm around me.
2016 was a cute year for me, I met someone neat for the first time irl after talking to him for a few years on Twitter (and Snapchat, I guess, oops).
(Self-promoting bc I'm quite proud of this review~)
Pathologic 3 isn't my typical genre but something utterly hooked me about this game. It's the best game that I never want to start again. It nails the feelings of stress at the world and horror at your own actions.

My biggest language bugaboo lately is people using the term 'conceit' as a synonym for 'concept' when the two aren't equivalent.
