On Friday afternoon, my 3D printer co. updated their slicer app with bad instructions to load x86_32 dlls on Windows and x86_64 dyld on arm64 Macs.

I was able to coerce a fix on the latter (it hanged on launch), but I'm getting the dreaded 0xc00007b error on my PC.

Outta my league on Windows :P

I'd forgetten how out of hand things have gotten.

MtG is still king out here and my LGS does FNM and 3 drafts (although they pivoted to simply doing pick-2 since it requires fewer folks and less time).

They used to do 5 prereleses on weekends (one 2HG). Now I think they're down to 3 (no 2HG) 😔

Although Channel Fireball is no more, their main shop still exists near me (under a different name) and their focus was standard and daily drafts to keep folks buying/competing for packs.

I wonder if they had to pivot to edh as standard dies with UB. 😅

To be fair, my honest asking for constant clarification is a more effective tool than directly asking them to use MtG terminology.

(FNM = EDH night at my LGS so my ignorance gets more annoying faster than a Rhystic Study trigger 😉)

Things like:
"Wait, hang on I forgot to proc..."
"Dude got crazy DoT with his [Blood Artist]..."
"I can't kill [Baylen...] with all thos adds..."

Perhaps it's general MMO terminology. I'd say my solution is to play dumb but I'm actually very dumb when it comes to MMOs. I played one once in 2003 😅
